Annet Mahendru
Mahendru a Russian Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian and English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father and a Russian mother. When she was 11, she choreographed an act that gained her an appearance on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden, who turns into a lively Indian dancer. After graduating from New York's High School, she was awarded her bachelor's degree in English degree from St. John's University. After high school, she attended acting classes at HB but subsequently enrolled in improv at Groundlings School. She then took on several comedy roles. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and an Russian-speaking mother Olga. The family moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, with her father when she turned 13 and stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The actress is most famous for her role as the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
